Meet your baker

My name is Hannah and I am the owner and baker behind Salted Dough!

I bake all my sourdough with a 90+ year old starter, passed down three generations.

My uncle Danny passed away in April 2024 & I guess you could say that’s what sparked the full send on my micro-bakery journey.

I inherited uncle’s sourdough starter that he got from his grandmother…my grandfather’s (he is 97 years old, y’all) mother. That’s as far back as I can trace it with certainty which is why I say 90+ year old starter.

I’m so excited to share my love for baking, and all the new flavors I create. The family recipes I use are treasured and sacred, I hope you can taste all the love.
